Take an unforgettable journey through the uniquely themed islands of Universal’s Islands of Adventure, where the world's most cutting edge rides, shows and interactive attractions bring your favorite stories, myths, cartoons, comic book heroes and children's tales to life.

Join the battle of good versus evil above the streets of Marvel Super Hero Island. Get splash happy with your favorite cartoon characters in the water rides of Toon Lagoon. Come face to face with the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. Venture through the mists of time as you experience the epic adventures of The Lost Continent. And step right into the pages of the children’s books of Dr. Seuss in Seuss Landing™. Islands of Adventure is the stuff legends are made of.

There's even more excitement on the horizon with the Spring 2010 opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Islands of Adventure. Pass through the towering Hogwarts™ castle gates and explore the familiar passageways, classrooms and corridors. Visit the shops of Hogsmeade™ and sample wares from the wizarding world's best known establishments, including the Three Broomsticks, Honeydukes, Zonko's, Ollivanders™ and more. Plus experience new pulse-pounding rides including Dragon Challenge, Flight of the Hippogriff and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™, a state-of-the-art attraction that brings the magic, characters, and stories of Harry Potter™ to life in ways never before imagined.

Islands of Adventure is separated from Universal Studios by a small entertainment area called CityWalk and, together, these three areas make up what is known as Universal Orlando. This huge entertainment complex also features dramatically themed hotels and an eclectic mix of themed specialty restaurants and cafes, live music venues, nightclubs, theaters and specialty shops.

Students will have fun to 110-acre Islands of Adventure which comprised of five themed islands, each featuring its own innovative attractions, shows, restaurants and rides:

A cacophony of colors, music and mood, Seuss Landing is where the whimsical characters from the Dr. Seuss book series spring to life. Attractions include The Cat In The Hat, Caro-Seuss-el, the Green Eggs and Ham Cafe, If I Ran The Zoo, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.

Toon Lagoon is home to everyone's favorite comic strip cartoon characters. Visitors will delight in Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls ride and Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges,to name a few.

At Marvel Super Hero Island guests can experience epic battles between renowned super heroes and super villains, with such exciting rides as Doctor Doom's Fearfall, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk Coaster.

The Lost Continent conjures the myths and legends of all the ages in a mysterious, fog-shrouded land, home to the Dueling Dragons double coaster ride, Poseidon's Fury: Escape From the Lost City, and The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad.

A full-fledged incarnation of the novel and motion picture, Jurassic Park is a hauntingly fascinating island inhabited by the most advanced animatronic creatures ever designed - dinosaurs that will respond to the humans around them. Rides include the Jurassic Park River Adventure, featuring the longest and steepest water drop ever built; a Discovery Center featuring an interactive opportunity to create a dinosaur via DNA Sequencing; Camp Jurassic, an interactive play area with a multitude of adventures including lava pits, amber caves and tropical rainforests; and the new Pteranodon Flyers which offer an exciting “bird’s-eye” view of the park.
